A unified day of theme-based activities celebrating the value and impact of Intentional Kindness.
The purpose of this day is to highlight the camp community's commitment to fostering core values like kindness, compassion, generosity, and care and integrating them into every aspect of society
CampKindness Day was the vision of the late Scott Ralls and was created in 2018 in association with the American Camp Association and KindnessEvolution.
How Camps Participate
Camps can engage in CampKindness Day by incorporating various activities into their programming, such as:
Letter Writing Booths: Campers write letters of appreciation to peers, staff, or family members.
Kindness Rocks: Painting rocks with inspirational messages and sharing them around camp.
Storytelling Tents: Sharing stories of kindness to inspire and educate.
Appreciation Circles: Campers express gratitude to each other, fostering a positive environment
